  • Didn’t get our money back

by Meila on 31/3/25Rating: 2 out of 5

The show was not enjoyable at all, we were in our vip spots at river stage and the evacuation was terrible and lots of people missed out on the show because they were already at home or couldn’t get off the train and once it reopened we were extremely disappointed with the spot we had because we were pushed all the way back and could barely see here performing on stage.

  • Pretty good

by Sarah on 19/11/24Riverstage Brisbane - BrisbaneRating: 4 out of 5

I love tate mcrae by it the unorganised ruined it, it was very unclear where to line up and very unclear that we were going back into the venue after the evacuation. I had a really good view of the stage before evacuating and then once we came back after evacuating i struggled a lot to see and it was not as enjoyable.

  • Absolutely Amazing

I went to the first show she performed in Melbourne (yesterday night) and it was absolutely incredible. She had a great opener who got everyone pumped up. Despite waiting for 30 minute before she came on, but i didn't really care since she did such a great effort because she mentioned she lost her voice a bit and was a little tired (don't blame her). It was such a memorable night and I'm looking forward to see her in future concerts. Also huge shoutout to the caring security guards who delt with and carried away the people who fainted to get help as well as handing out waters on such a hot day (got up to around 35) (as well as Tate herself asking for them to get help) Also, with all the negative reviews from Brisbane, it's not her fault!? It's unsafe in itself to perform during a storm, but I agree that it is annoying that people didn't get told the concert was back on but that's more on the stadium's/place's fault, but she also did mention it on instragram. And it's also not her fault the university next door has a curfew but just be thankful she even came back on and tried to get through as much of her set as possible because some artists would just cancel the whole concert.

  • Amazing

Had the best night ever! Cant complain for her performance, was amazing, only complain was due to the storm we had to evacuate for an hour but was worth it :)

  • better evac plans

by ash on 12/11/24Riverstage Brisbane - BrisbaneRating: 3 out of 5

This is the second time I've been evacuated from Riverstage as a result of a weather event and the venue and staff desperately need a better way to manage the crowd and communicate with them when these situations arise. 10 thousand people crowded in one other two car parks and then at one gate to reenter is incredibly unsafe

  • Hectic

by Zoey on 11/11/24Riverstage Brisbane - BrisbaneRating: 3 out of 5

Due to severe thunderstorm, we were evacuated from the venue and were told to wait until further notice, we waited for about an hour and a half before we were told it was back on, we waited an extra 45mins before she even came back out on stage by that time it was quarter past 9 and curfew was 10pm since there was a Uni right next to the venue, she played her top hits (8-10 songs) and while the time we had was absolutely amazing we missed out on majority of the concert compared to other cities and we also did not receive any messages or emails saying the concert was back on like other people luckily we were at the right place right time and were told it was back on otherwise we would have missed the concert like I know a lot of other people did, we feel we should get some sort of compensation due to the turns of events and the little communication we got. We know of a few others who didn’t get a message until the next morning saying it was on, bit late for that, where as we didn’t get one at all.

  • Weather delay.

by Ty on 11/11/24Riverstage Brisbane - BrisbaneRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing night. Amazing performance. Only small thing was the no priorities for the VIP after the rain delay. Didn’t affect the entire night. Just a preference.

  • Miserable

by Amber on 11/11/24Riverstage Brisbane - BrisbaneRating: 1 out of 5

I had vip and after we got evacuated we lost our spot wasn't able to get back and wasn't able to enjoy the show at all im extremely disappointed that people that didn't pay for vip got given entry before the people that paid im extremely mad and didn't enjoy the show at all. Tate's performance was still amazing im just mad I lost the spot I paid extra money for just for it to go to a ga person who took it due to a storm. Trying to navigate in the rain while people are running and pushing in front of you made it less enjoyable

  • Total devastation

by RS on 10/11/24Rating: 1 out of 5

Absolutely devastated after being told the concert was cancelled by a security guard at the venue as we were evacuating. So headed home. Only for the venue to reopen at 8.30pm with a 10pm curfew, pretty sure Tate couldn't get her whole set in, and pretty certain no refunds will be given as they reopened the venue
