I travelled 4 hours to Sydney to see this show today and wish i’d have stayed home. Not one song performed from the movie, Casey Donovan did not appear and there was zero announcement as to why or who her replacement was - the story line was cringe worthy - whats with the romantic interest with the policeman?? Some very weak performances and singing but there was also so strong dingers - very hot and cold - all in all a very disappointing show.
To be honest, the first half seemed a bit laclustre but improved as they got into it more. The singing was fine but it just didn't hold our attention. The second act was totally different; it worked and it worked well with good performances and singing from everyone on stage. The main stars were superb and backed up by a great group of performers. Everyone can be proud of their achievements with this show. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
Went to see Sister Act ready to sing along and see a musical version of the movie. Not one song from the movie is in it and the characters are different.
We loved it, for those people who went expecting the original songs from the movie, they need to move on! They should embrace it, enjoy the new experience and storyline. The new songs had great lyrics creating many laughs. Casey Donovan, Rhonda Burchmore, Sophie Montague ,Genevieve Lemon what talent, what massive vocals you all have. A musical the entire cast can be proud of. One of the best musicals we seen recently. Congrats to the cast and thank you! For anyone reading the reviews and are undecided just go and enjoy!
If you're looking for a fund night out, Sister Act is definitely worth seeing. Very talented actors/singers delivery a sparkling performance.
The best show I have seen for awhile. I couldn’t stop laughing you have to see this show you will enjoy it.

Didn’t like the music was expecting the same songs from the movie
We were looking forward to singing and dancing to the songs from the movie. All the cast speak with an American accent and there are all original songs only. We were disappointed.
The first half was a little slow but after a break, they all came back and did themselves proud. Just amazing the way they worked together, got some good laughs, and seemed to really enjoy themselves. And the best of it was, the crowd came alive and got behind them. There where some pretty amazing performances and I want name them, because it could imply that some where not as good, which is not true. The experienced ones did what was expected, as experienced professionals. Great show - better than the performance in New York in 2011.

This is probably the best musical that we have been to. The show was just superb with wonderful music, and stage props. The cast are very talented with amazing voices. Do yourself a favour and get yourself to Sister Act. You won't be disappointed.
Loved the show, vibrant, colourful, energetic, only disappointment was that none of the original songs from the novie were performed
Casey Donovan is simply the best - a natural star shining brightly - her total professionalism and singing with her co stars and not over the top of them just proves her quality - a total natural - she’s simply the best
Sister Act is 2.5 hours of feel good fun. I have already been twice in the first week of the shows run and I would happily go back every week! The cast is absolutely fantastic. High energy, incredible harmonies and new characters to love. The all new songs are so beautiful, I cried 3 times! The nuns are such a wonderful group of singers - you can help but smile when they’re all on stage. This show is well worth the money, time and the sore cheek muscles afterwards!! Do not miss the amazing colourful set, the sequinned costumes, the hilarious gangsters and the PHENOMENAL dance routines!! Spread the love around!! 🖤🤍

This stage show would have been amazing if the original songs were used. If you don’t use the sister act songs don’t call it sister act very disappointing. Casey sounded amazing
While the performance of the artists was quite good , the show didn’t reach any great heights . Songs were ordinary & felt sorry for the singers having nothing great to show case their talents . A show I would gladding miss seeing again
