About

In exciting news for Australian and New Zealand fans, nearly 30 years since they were last on these shores, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have announced an exclusive run of shows, playing Never Mind The Bollocks in its entirety. With special guests Australian rock band CIVIC.

In August 2023, Frank Carter joined Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols for one of the most surprising and adored music events of the year. Members of one of the most influential rock bands of all time, plus life-long fan and modern-day punk icon Carter, performed the Sex Pistols’ iconic 1977 album Never Mind The Bollocks in full.

Teaming up to play 3 nights of fund-raising for the West London’s iconic Bush Hall, the foursome stunned fans and critics alike, creating a sonic onslaught and mayhem reminiscent of 1976. Carter fitted like a glove, perfectly recreating the songs that changed the world, while resolutely remaining himself.

  • Sex Pistols, Fremantle Prison, Bloody Brilliant!

    by J S Puff on 14/4/25Fremantle Prison - FremantleRating: 5 out of 5

Frank Carter led the Pistols to a ripper of a night. The energy was fantastic managing to get the (slightly older) crowd up and moshing. The musicianship of Steve Jones, Paul Cook and reunited original member Glen Matlock, was a powerful precision tour de force!

  • Great concert

Excellent concert Frank Carter did a great job for the Sex Pistols

  • A great night

by Colin on 13/4/25Fremantle Prison - FremantleRating: 4 out of 5

A good venue without the chairs they sometimes have. The sound was awesome, Frank Carter was respectful of the crowd and his opportunity to play with Pistols. The people in the crowd where great fun.

  • Even better than the real thing

by Kazza on 12/4/25Fremantle Prison - FremantleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen the Pistols with Johnny a few times so I was hesitant to book to see them with a new singer. However, the temptation of the iconic and unusual Fremantle Prison was a big draw. Plus saw the Stranglers recently and there’s only 1 original band member in them and they were great. After a very sunny 33 degree autumn day the sudden rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. The 3 original members were as tight as ever and looked like they were having a ball. What a find Frank Carter is? One of the most engaging and entertaining front men I’ve seen in years. He did his best to get all us ‘old folks’ pogoing up and down and joining in. With the hilarious quip “you can ice your knees tomorrow.” The songs are legendary and timeless. Loved it and would highly recommend anyone to go and see them. You don’t be disappointed.

  • Just Brilliant

by Spike Spike on 12/4/25Fremantle Prison - FremantleRating: 5 out of 5

Last time I saw them live was in The Marquee Club in 1978. Brilliant show in a great venue, even with the rain. Big smiles on all of the crowds faces.

  • Excellent

by Jim on 12/4/25Fremantle Prison - FremantleRating: 5 out of 5

The pistols were brilliant, high energy and as tight a group as you could wish for. Even the rain couldn't dampen the atmosphere

  • Sex pistols are back baby 🤘🏻

by Jayne on 9/4/25Festival Hall Melbourne - West MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to a few gigs over the past couple of years, but I would have to say that knock them all out of the park. Was the most awesome experience definitely one that I would recommend. If they ever returned back to Melbourne, I’ll definitely go again.

Great gig, great performance, sound was great. Venue not so great. Seats on the sides are rubbish.

  • The Sex Pistols - such a happy show.

by Terry Kelly on 7/4/25Festival Hall Melbourne - West MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

One of the happiest gigs I've ever been to...and I've been going to rock shows for over 50 years. The music was tight and tough but the songs are so catchy that it became a joyous singalong. A celebration of punk. Frontman Frank Carter was fantastic. Festival Hall was a fabulous venue for these legends.
