Four-time Grammy Award winning artist Gary Clark Jr. has announced three exclusive headline shows in Australia for April 2025.

Clark achieved global impact following his first Grammy Award® i n 2014, winning Best Traditional R&B Performance for the track “Please Come Home” from his Warner Records debut album Blak And Blu, and seemingly never left the road. 2015’s The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim wrought hard-won international acclaim as a critical force to be reckoned with.

 

Throughout 2019, Clark ascended to greater heights with the release of This Land – his third full-length studio album which bowed at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his third consecutive Top 10 debut. The album and single of the same name attracted acclaim from the likes of The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and more.     Well worth the expense,since we traveled from the far south coast of NSW.We we’re ground level row L,which was pretty dam good.Discovered Gary on utube,and was very excited to get tickets.He didn’t let us down.We didn’t realise he had such a range with his voice.He could be anything blues,soul ect,& his guitar playing was natural and effortless.His band was also so so talented as well as his awesome back-up singers,and so good of Gary to bring on an up & coming Australian as a support act Hamish Anderson,who was also magic.Thank-you all for a wonderful night.

    Absolutely fantastic his sisters were fantastic as well as his back up Band and the support band were very good as well the good old Palais Venue was absolutely brilliant and they had Carlton Draught on tap all round a great night had by all and i would recommend everyone to catch up with Gary Clark Jnr,s music

    I'm sorry to say but very disappointed, not sure if the sound mixer was not doing his job or the acoustics upstairs are bad but could not understand Hamish or Garys voice clearly, this was the opinion of four attendees. NO encore also disappointing.

    Whilst the band were very good and an enjoyable experience, the evening was somewhat marred by the constant stream of people leaving to, and returning from the bar for alcohol beverages. With the constant consumption of alcohol, the audience became rowdy, yelling out during solos and the quieter passages disrupting the atmospheres for those of us who came to listen to and watch Gary Clark.
