Tonight's the Night we create 'Magic'. Rod Stewart & our beloved Olivia Newton-John, a musical match made in Heaven, featuring all their greatest hits including Tonight’s The Night, Maggie May, Hot Legs, You’re in My Heart, Sailing, Physical, You’re the One That I Want, I Honestly Love You, hits from Grease and Xanadu and so many more. We came to love their music and the personalities of these two friends. Olivia’s spandex tights in Grease were Rod’s inspiration for his 'Da Ya Think I’m Sexy' song. Michael Zammit embodies Rod Stewart's larrikinism and no-one sings Olivia like Jenn Allas. Who better to bring audiences the magic of Rod Stewart and Olivia Newton –John than these two great international artists. This is a musical partnership just waiting to happen so we are sprinkling stardust on the Palms at Crown stage and presenting a night of sheer 'Magic'.
Michael Zammit has the raspy voice and cheekyness of Rod Steward and his great band, the Tequila Bros capture all the correct phases of Rod's career from the Faces to today . Not one song disappointed and Jenn Allas' voice is stunning, doing justice to the memory of our lovely ONJ.
